From a military generator.  My uncle used to haul scrap from some bases.  This was one of those useless things that was too cool to toss away.

I hope your Haynes manual serves you better than mine do me. If getting a FSM is at all a possibility, that will probably save you a lot of puzzlement & grief.

There is a Youtube PT boat video from Portland whose engine room panel I think that reminds me of that . I admire the practical design of military control panels. Cool stuff. thanks for saving it, Just like military aircraft panels. This is from the engineer’s station of a B-29. No fooling around allowed ,....
