New house, new garage, finally able to fit two cars. Not bad for being moved in since the new year. Now to clear out the last bay for the Dakota.

Nice! I seem to have lost a space this summer, and need to clean out the garage before winter hits so I can park there again...

It’s a good feeling isn’t it? I just wish I had a third space for the GTI.

Been there, our last house was a 2 car, and my truck lived outside.  I’d cover it and pull the batteries in the winter.  So this year, the goal is to now get the last bay cleared out before the snow flies.  I’m pretty psyched to keep unpacking boxes.  Starting over basically with a different layout and lighting and all that, makes it interesting.

Yeah, that happens quite a bit. I assume that will be standard from here on out. Kids bikes and such will take the trucks parking for the 3 warm seasons, then my truck gets it spot back for winter. Seems doable. I’ll probably have to get a dumpster to get rid of the leftover building materials and such, but time will tell.

We renovated the kitchen and 3 baths, so there’s a fair amount of scrap drywall and cabinets and all that stuff to deal with.

Lol, yeah one family truckster and a family haul-asser :).  Then I have my Dakota RT that I’ve had since ‘01 that serves for Home Depot runs and trailer towing duties.  The CTS-V I had wasn’t much fun in the snow and the S4 I replaced it with became a bit too cramped for hauling even 2 of my 4 little ones, so now I can fit three in back and one up front if absolutely necessary.  And AWD and not a stick, so my Wife will drive it if needed.  It’s tough to find a good jack of all trades car, someday maybe I’ll be able to have a track toy to play with.  Once my boys are older we can buy a toy to play with together.  For now though 3 cars is just right.  :)
