So hungry this morning.

Wasn’t sure whether to make two venison burgers or one large burger.

I opted for the latter.

With a slice of mild white cheddar and a little mayonnaise.

Appointment with imm igration, is that for your Dutch passport?

There’s been a few cases this side of the river with people applying for ‘right to remain’ permits here in the U.K., minimum requirement is five years residency, yet people with three children, all British, and 31 years residency have only been granted temporary right to remain.

Got my shiny new passport the other week.

Passports are getting bloody expensive these days.

£142.50 for a fast-track passport, £40 for transport through to Durham for the interview, loads of stress thinking ‘have I got everything I need’ (turned out all I needed was the pictures and an application form filled out and no other documentation.

I’m tired, I’m good. I wasted a lot of money not going to a race because one of my sons couldn’t go to sleep. But I got to stay up with him the entire night and watch trolleys drive down the street.

Please know I’ll never say anything negative to you or your cooking (unless it’s really really bad, like what I’d cook bad)

Ouch, that doesn’t sound good.

I’m good with negativity. If what I cook, clean, say or do is wrong, call me on it.

Thanks! Yeah, the daughter’s arrival really forced me to adjust  my time management. Sleep is usually the victim. I’d actually like to do another night where I can just stay up all night with my son and watch cars go by, so long as the rest of the family can sleep. It was great bonding time for us.

Ye’, sometimes you really need those one to one times, be it one of the children or your missus.

But never try to recreate a night, it rarely if ever matches up. Just be natural and fluid and let it happen.

Really glad you got that time together.
