Im cranky today, so I went to lunch with my pal at the Elbow Room, a local landmark.

My advice when you are feeling shitty about humanity, including yourself? Hang out with a dog.  They are better than us.

It’s amazing how much my life outlook has improved by having Ruby around. The reaction she gives me when I come home and how happy even a simple trip to Lowe’s makes her improves even the worst of days .

We may start fostering for the group where we found Ruby before long.

Which probably means at some point we’ll have a second greyhound.

Which would mean shopping for a vehicle with room for two adults, a teenager, and two greyhounds.

I’m ok with both of these eventualities.
