I drove 200 miles in it yesterday on interstate type freeways. Don’t recommend. Long term review will come soon!

Honestly? Like the Micra that I adore, it is an amazing vehicle for dense urban areas. I feel like I can drive/park/turn in the tightest lots.

It has Android Auto, AC and a backup camera which makes it an alien spaceship compared to the truck, Forte and Fiesta.

But, lack of any power, braking, handling or crash protection mean I would not recommend to anyone who has to drive it in a suburb let alone a highway

I must’ve missed the original post (or don’t remember it....either is just as likely, lol) ...guessing this is a rental to temporarily replace the Mazda?

Why on earth would you drive this thing instead of the fiesta lol. I get why your wife would take it to work or whatever since wheels are wheels at that point. Unless you are doing it for the Oppo review points haha. Both sparks I have driven (cvt and manual 2014 models) were absolute garbage. To the point that I adore the Nissan Versa in comparison since it's at least a whole car. Other similarly sized/powered cars like the Fiat 500 and Smart for 4 that I've driven were infinitely better.

We had to take puppy and I was unsure of road construction type where we were going.  If we had to drive a distance on logging roads, I'd rather we had the Spark

Ahh, yeah sacrificial car I suppose. And it has AC so that makes it an upgrade from the Forte then!

I didn’t know you had a Spark!

Red is cool, but pink is better. They even have two shades of pink! And orange, a nice blue. Too bad no more green and purple tho

I’ve driven a Spark before, and it drove fine on the highway. Even at 65 mph (which is over 100 km/h ) it didn’t feel bad at all. There is no problem with that. It is a bit hard to see out of due to small windows, but no worse than any other new car now. And while I’d prefer something bigger with more room for a daily driver, the Spark isn’t inherently a bad car.

The worst part about the Spark is that it’s overpriced by about $3000, at least if you pay full MSRP.

You’re just rubbing it in that you get the Micra up there and we don’t :p

The Spark isn’t a bad car, just overpriced. It has enough power for a car of its size and is available with a lot of features (and you can even get the manual transmission on any Spark, even the highest model with leather and sunroof and heated seats)

It has lots of crash protection and a ton of airbags. It has all the safety shit required to meet contemporary US standards

But I still wish we got the Micra down here :(

I drove the pre-facelift anime-eyed version a few years ago and it was easily the worst car I’ve ever driven.
