the jetlag is real. Passed out at 5pm, woke up at 1am, which is 3pm Bangkok time. Ugh.

8 was thrilled to have the Miata start up instantly after 4 weeks of sitting. No flat-spotted tires, no oil leaks, no mold inside, no stolen parts, a strong battery.... I ended up changing the oil first thing upon getting home as it was almost bl ack. Today I’ll be writing up the full for-sale ad, and clay barring every inch of the little Mazda.

I miss Bangkok, and to a lesser extent, Tokyo. I paid $50 to Uber back home from the airport. $50.... I was paying $2 to taxi an even further distance in Bangkok.

*big sigh*

I am too, but it's time for something new. As soon as it sells, I'll be walking to the Ducati dealership. Or maaaaaybe KTM

I want a motorcycle, and don't want to deal with multiple vehicles. Trying to get rid of a lot of stuff and streamline my life, in case I decide to move, or just to travel easier

Problem is when you slide into a ditch on the bike you’re the crumple zone lol. They’re already sketchy enough on dry pavement for my liking lol, but you’d never catch me on a bike in the winter on the streets.

Reality kickin in is even worse than jetlag. Man I remember coming back from Tokyo and wishing I was still there.

Here in VT you find guys ripping around on the frozen lakes on bikes with tires covered in 2 inch long spikes. I asked a guy about it once and apparently they make stupid grip on ice but you are kinda screwed if you hit a snowy patch.
