I had new tires put on the GTI and Beetle yesterday. Pirelli PZero All Season Plus for the GTI and Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season for the Beetle. My Camaro came with PZero summer tires, and I liked them well enough that I replaced the originals with a new set last summer. It was time for the daily drivers to get an update.

First impressions are good for both cars . I’ll follow up with my thoughts after a few more miles.

Not exactly this, but I turned off the traction control a few times to see how much they would spin as I went through the gears.

The reviews I’ve read say the PZero All Season Plus  is nearly as good as the Michelin AS3, maybe better in some aspects. Ev erything I could find said the Pirelli was quieter. Quiet is high on my list of wants for a daily driver.

I put the all season plus on my BRZ. Phenomenal grip, but lost just a little bit on precision/immediacy. On most cars that would be fine, but on a BRZ it feels like it dulls the whole point of the car. Probably going to do a full year on them then switch to something else if I haven't warmed to them by then

I’m glad to hear from somebody that has experience with them!

My GTI had all season Continental Procontact tires on it. So these Pirellis should be a nice step up in performance. I’m in Dayton, Ohio, which is probably the ideal location for a high performance all season tire on a daily driver. We don’t get that much snow, but we do get some. I’ll take a small drop in immediate response for some mild  snow capability.

Yeah, I’m in Massachusetts so similar situation. Lots of days of cold dry tarmac, which is what me to these. Not sure yet if I’ll go different all season like the  AS3 or full summers when/if I make the switch
