I think old folks mostly drive Hondas and Toyotas these days (at least in the US).
In my relative’ s case, GM and FCA’s predecessors burned too many bridges with stuff that shouldn’t have broken when it did, on more than one occasion..

Well I imagine the average Pagani buyer is like 75 years old so they aren’t wrong.

Honda and Toyota would never make anything that gaudy

That looks nothing like a Dodge Challenger. The ultimate senior luxury car .

Actually it was the shifter that tipped me off. I remember Richard Hammond talking about it. It’s exposed but not as exposed as the Spyker, IIRC the Spiker had a traditional manual but Huayra had a +/- shifter.

I would like to think it’s a tech guy who takes it to shows and puts 800 miles a year or so on it, but I’m probably dreaming.

If it makes you feel better it ’ll probably be trailered to Pebble Beach in fifty years or so if you want to take a look at one.

You know, I have often thought that about Paganis ... whatever the driving experience, the bling is just off-putting. I’d buy the Panamera Shooting Brake thingy (optioned to the nines) and do something useful with the rest of the money.

I’m glad someone agrees! They have always appealed to me from the outside, and their models seem to prioritize driver involvement/enjoyment as well as sheer performance which appeals to me. That being said knowing part of the eye-watering price tag is paying for the interior turns me off.
