Wow. My first real PC was a Packard Bell. 166MhZ of pure power. These are probably at least 233MhZ.

I hadn’t realised they’d gone away in the US as they’ve stuck around over here as the brand for low end Acer kit sold by retail chains. It looks like the new US operation is just licensing the name.

Pretty much all the revived well-known names are licensed these days. Including BlackBerry, Nokia, Polaroid, etc.
