I was down there while my friend was cruising around in a 182.
This is the southern end of the Mission Mountains. This is all a Tribal wilderness area.
We were down in the yard below.
And the plane from my view.

Neat! I intend to fly over my house sometime in the near future. I already have drone photos of it, but none from a plane!

My dad pulls this all the time. A few weeks ago I was coming home from the mall and looked up to see an Archer flying really low (like 750' over a pretty populated area) and was like “That’s gotta be him.”
I was able to log on to my family locator/driving app and sure enough, it said “Dad just completed a 37-mile drive at 125mph”
We have successfully texted my wife from the plane while flying over and watching her wave at us. It’s fun.

There’s a guy who flies a gyrocopter over my house regularly. When I hear him coming, I go outside and wave. He usually orbits the house two or three times, then heads north. I’m pretty sure he’s one of three or four guys who fly out of KREG, but I’ve yet to meet him.

The plane owner is a neighbor about 1/4 mile away and he is always buzzing my moms’s house when he is out recreational flying. I don’t have any aerial photos of my house in Whitefish and we are under the north approach for the airport so it could be kinda sketchy in a GA plane with commercial jets coming in every 20 minutes.

My home airport is under the approach to Bush Intercontinental Airport. From day one we are taught the importance of staying below the Bravo airspace (2,000 feet). I’ve had evening flights where we’ve seen at least eight jets on approach, all in line, spaced about five miles apart.
