I hope it’s nothing serious, and something that just needs tightened.

Did you switch up from conventional to synthetic at the last change? That’s never a good thing to walk out to in the morning. Here to hoping it’s an easy fix.

Oil leak?

Upside is that if you see it leaking that means it aint empty yet!

I’m more worried about those pods in the puddle. If those are coming out of your car, the Pod people have taken it over. Time to burn it for the sake of the children.
Joking aside, that sucks to have your baby bleed out like that. I hope it’s something minor and not a time bomb that was waiting to go off. I know you’ve been over that thing with a fine toothed comb in restoring it. So, I can’t imagine it’s anything big.

Has Toby come around to liking the GTI or is he still a Sunchaser dog?

Once I had the oil changed in the GTI at a semi-sketchy place because it was the only choice and I was on the way out of town for a long trip. For a while it was leaking more oil than the TR6 and the Jaguar combined.
Turned out it was some crummy drain bolt they installed without the copper washer
