Wow haven’t seen one of these in so long...I kind of had a soft spot for the Musso when they were popular back in the day too.
Is it weird that I think this looks good in some strange way?
p.s. apparently the Musso is still a thing and is quite handsome (and also a knockoff Ridgeline) ??? I was referring to the original one back in the 90s.

Maybe a Diplomat brought it over, then left the country, but it fell under the 15 year rule & sold it?

No. This is about right. This model of Korando was built up until 1999. So it’s legal in Canada.
I’ve not seen one for ages. I used to see light metallic green ones occasionally.
What is weird is you could get a Ssangyong Korando Sport DMZ pickup, already in camo as a special edition at the SERE Motors Ssangyong dealership in Northern Ireland.
One tonne payload with 5 year unlimited mileage warranty.
2017 models with 19, 42, 43 and 64 miles on the clock.

I also have a soft spot for the original Musso, especially the GX 220 'hot' version. I get a fair bit of stick for this from the Euro WhatsApp group.

Yeah, just a lot less strange compared to the original Musso or that Korando up there (probably more striking to me given that I grew up with these things around me in Asia, but haven’t seen any for the last 2 decades or so in the US) . That second picture you’d have to squint real hard to separate it from a Ridgeline.
