Pixel 3 is amazing. Here I am across Kansas at 32,000 feet. It took several shots but I finally caught the lightning out my side of the cockpit. Night mode on. Blown up on my 35" UHD monitor I can see large grains, but that would be minimized on a canvas print. I’m thinking 8 x 10 or even one up.

Wow, that’s incredible
I really want the Huewai P30 pro, but with USA's business decisions... Pixel 3 might be on the agenda. How have you like it, besides the camera?

Google’s processing on photos is insane. The Pixels manage to take insane photos with a sensor that based on its use in other phones is only OK and not great. The Google Camera APK also works wonders on other Android devices.

Yes it’s a very good phone. I personally would have taken the 3a were it not for the random shutdowns it was experiencing early on and to have a headphone jack. But the deal VZ gave us on it and new service we couldn’t pass it up. It is Google, however Google’s own privacy decisions are freaking me out. I just need an email of a flight reservation and its reminding me of that flight on the main lock screen. I never use the calendar....so it’s scanning my emails to remind me of important things out of convenience and It is neet, but, creepy. Especially since it knows whats important and what isn’t. It’s been dead reliable. If I watch lots of you tube and stream audio all day it won’t last a day but that’ s a severe use case.
