Good morning, oppos. Has anyone been to the Savannah speed classic? I’ve been to Savannah, but not Hilton head. I’ve seen pictures from other concours events, but I’ve never been to any of them. The event sounds fun and I’d hopefully fer a chance to see some classics that have evaded me thus far. We would probably just attend the Saturday portion and use Sunday and Monday to explore Savannah again.
If anyone has gone (to this one or another concours event), what should we expect? Was it worth it? Were crowds pretty intense (I don’t love indoor new car shows for this reason)?

I didn’t even know it existed until my fiance forwarded it to me this morning.

I’m in downtown Atlanta, but the drive is painless enough (3.5 hours) and October isn’t a bad time of the year t o walk Savannah from what I understand (only been there in the spring) - so the trip wouldn’t be just for the race.
