Sometime I wonder if I made the right decision to not get the newer Cayenne which is faster, more fuel efficient with a updated interior. Sometimes I wonder if I should have got the smaller, nimbler Macan S with that sweet sweet PDK. But then I start my GTS, I accelerate to 5k rpms and let off the gas to hear the burblely popcorn being made out the back and know enjoyable driving is more than the numbers on paper. It is a visceral experience, an experience I did not get from either of the twin-turbo sixes.

Glorious!  And especially wild coming from an SUV.

I dont know of you have facebook, but the shop a couple of friends and I started, did a full exhaust on that gen Cayenne, with the V8. We have a couple of videos up on our page, United Street Performance.

I should probably apologize to your place of work but it just doesn’t feel right so...  you’re welcome? It’s really the first vehicle I’ve owned where a mustang or civic will rev or try to race you AFTER you take off from the light. Normally all the Tom foolery would happen at the red light. It definitely catches people off guard in person. Favorite thing to do is open the exhaust baffles before starting it in the grocery store parking lot and watch heads whip around only to be confused trying to pin-point the startup vehicle.

I thought the color would give it away but most people are still shocked.

Custom made headers, straight all the way to the back boxes. Back boxes were Varex with butterflies with Akrapovic tips.
