4000$ is a lot for a 10 year old VFR that’s done 20k miles, but it *is* the anniversary model in this jaw dropping paint. If I had more burn cash, it’d be at the top of my list but unfortunately, I paid down my car loan and paid off a vacation from earlier this year so I only have 2 grand to burn. But stil l...my pants tighten every time I look at this.

I would buy it just for the sound it makes, even if I never rode it.

I love VFRs, and that’s my favorite paint scheme as well. It’s beautiful!

What ever happened with that TDM850 you were going to look at?

I see plenty of similar year and mileage ones go for 30 00-3500 USD in my area. By 4k do you mean canuck dollars? But it still isn’t much of a stretch ofr a rare paint job like this so it isn’t unreasonable.

That said, if he sells it behind my back, I will find the cash to buy this out of spite.

I have no idea how the bike market works, I just thought it looked like pretty much the exact same bike.

TDMs are hard to get a proper value for because they’re so rare. But yes, I am pulling the trigger on the one near me for 1800.

I really like the look of that bike. I think I'd be on my toes if I sat on one, but it looks really nice.

$4k seems appropriate especially for how clean it is . Gotta add another decade onto it’s age and 30k more miles to drop below $4k over here. Here’e a seventeen year-old one with almost 60k miles, scratches and missing fairing bolts for $2,400. Even that’s a decent price:

Over here that is probably about right and perhaps a bit on the cheap side if I remember correctly.

$4k might even be a tad low for the condition of that bike.

Weird. My area has a glut of VFRs/interceptors I guess. Meanwhile, SV650s go for 3k+ all day, every day, even at high mileage and poor upkeep.

This is the 2007 Anniversary model, so not as common . They usually go in the $5000 range in the NYC area if they have under ~15k miles.

That’s weird. Pretty much the opposite of every other market.
There’s generally the same number of SVs and VFRs for sale in my area. SVs have been sub $3k for quite a while. I bought my ‘03 back in ‘06 with 1k miles on it for $3k. I couldn’t imagine soending that nowadays on anything that wasn’t immaculate with decent upgrades.
VFRs are widely considered to be one of the best Hondas ever made, especially the ones with gear driven cams (after ‘86).
Paying more for a beat SV is just nonsensical.

I read this post this morning. I love Honda bikes. Later in the day my local CL wandering leads me to this bike. We must be almost neighbors. I would buy the red one for $1800 for sure.

I’m so confused because just last week there were two silver ones and another red VFR800 for all around 3000$. I guess they were great deals.
