I was! Spent a week at Lake Lure , via Charlotte where my friends live, and we spent a day in Asheville too. Beautiful area. Too hot / humid for me but that’s what the lake is for. Also cold beer.

Ashe ville is only about an hour and a half from me, since I’ve lived in the south pretty much my whole life, the humidity and heat don’t bother me too much.
