Just realized that there’s a Singer 911 on the block at the Gooding & Co Pebble Beach auction in a few weeks. It looks to be the first public sale for one.
Will be interesting to see where the market is on these. Assuming it was a $600k+ build, the new owner will be paying a premium instead of waiting in line for two years and their own custom 964 build.
Estimate is pretty wide at $800k to $1.2 Million
Bid early, and bid often!

Edit: Changed title as it could have been confused for being the first Sing er build, which it’s not. Just the first to go on the block.

Wonder if Singer will comment. I found it interesting when BaT sold their Emory 356 recently that it went for exactly what Rod Emory said it would take to duplicate. I’d expect that’s a fair minimum for bespoke cars like this, plus however much more a bidder is willing to pay to jump the line, so to speak.

That’s a lot of money for a Beetle from a se wing machine company.

Yes, it may have been an $800K build with $200K of “we’ll see what we get ” on top.
Unregardless, IMO
it’ll sell for at least $
800K. Like you said, “
drive it tomorrow”
.

Still think the ruf 911 remakes are a better deal.
