I don’t think the manual would improve the car enough to make it not depressing when that comes up as the only option on the rental lot though.

Found this 2019 Mirage on Autotrader for $9360. If Mitsubishi were to offer it with manual windows, no radio, no cruise control, no A/C, no carpets, and unpainted bumpers, they’d be able to sell it even cheaper still.
