I’ve got some friends that live on a dirt road (not a farm, but a bigly house on 5 acres kind of thing). Despite there’s being like 1/3 mile of dirt road to their driveway, I don’t think they’ve washed a car since 2006 .

There really isn’t such a thing out here in the desert Southwest. Rust is more of a theoretical concept that applies only in other places.

Is it mostly dry and dusty where you are?
You could try Gtechniq UV wash, it’s used on yachts and while it doesn’t impart any water beading behavior, it does impart UV protection and anti-static protection reducing dust build up on exterior surfaces.

I just moved into a dirt road and decided within 2 days of looking at the Mini grow dirty that I’m going to need mud flaps to try to keep the splash off the sides and maintain my sanity.

From what I’ve seen, yes. If you get a good one you’d be able to take a hose and just rinse all that dust off.

And this is pretty much why our cars don’t get washed...unless it rains.
