Just old car and any Subaru problems right here! Spontaneously all of us were checking our mechanicals to be ready to go for a drive. Both the Subaru and Vette needed oil of course. I bet I lose more oil than the Corvette but mine is totally within spec!
HFV has no HFV. But somehow has 2 motorcycles

With my old Galant VR-4 I checked the oil every 500 miles or so, if it managed to go that long without being taken apart.

Oh you mean everyone but my perfect TDI?
Yeah, I was out of this shop cleaning my windshield. That's the only thing I need to check. German reliability is a thing guys.

Every car runs on fuel of some sort (including those darned electric doohickeys you've got). Every Subaru runs on oil. Seems to work exactly as intended!

Subaru: “ 3-4 qts between oil changes is perfectly normal”.
Me: “If my vehicle uses more than 1/2 qt between oil changes I know something is wrong!”.
Should be noted most of my vehicles are 20+ years old with well over 150k miles of abuse.
