y new (new to me) 1974 Honda CB350. First pic of the bike. Just got home from returning the borrowed truck and trailer. Its dark so no more pics tonight. Sweet little bike, very light handling , makes all the right sounds and everything works on it. I’m very happy. As an added bonus during the discussion I found out the owner is a jalopnik reader and is familiar with opposite lock as well. He intends to keep up with the bike so expect me to post motorcycle content in the future . (If you’re reading this Hi , please make an account and join us). There are a few things that may need done. Shocks should prob be replaced, maybe gets some grippier modern tires, adjust the brakes and such. Overall it’s a great bike though. Oh, the pipes are not factory but were decently fabricated by someone. Prob swap for stock eventually but no hurry. Can’t wait to get plates on this baby and go riding!

A beautiful bike! I am a sucker for old hondas. I’ve got a 71 CB500 that I will never get rid of even though I have a modern bike too.
Enjoy the hell out of it!

tires are most important, age of tires most important, a millisecond after you realize a tire failure is too late, i’m old and passing along , enjoy

Hmm.... I think it is a 1974 CB36 0.Per wiki “ the CB360 was a new design. The 356 cc engine was tuned for broad range torque, and drove the rear wheel through a six-speed gearbox. The base CB360 model was equipped with front and rear drum brakes, while the CB360t version had a front hydraulic disc brake.”.
These are great bikes for city riding. And a six speed box makes it even better.
If you have potholes like we do, you may want to keep the shocks compliant and old like mine.
I have a 71 CL350 (Scrambler) that had it’s high exhaust
pipes converted to low. I got new tires a couple o
f years ago,
they are 3.25 H19 size.

It’s a CB 350 for sure. It even says it in VIN. Much better to have new shocks and adjust them for more compliance than to have old ones that may or may not bottom out or have uneven compression rate.
