Dat posterior is clean. I’m not even gonna put on the “PORSCHE” rear decal that normally goes under the license plate.
On a 944 Turbo, for example.
Also it already says PORSCHE on my license frame so I think that’ll do.

Very clean! I think leaving off
the long “porsche” is a good call, especially with the license plate frame already informing anyone who is wondering who made the “9=4turbo” (that decal is awesome though, is that factory style?).

Exactly! It is factory style, but very rare style. The only source I have been able to find tell me it’s a 1979 German Market variant. But given as there’s a few Early US 1980 cars with it, it might just be an early production version. It’s NLA from Porsche, so I asked a very good friend to take a vector drawing of that version and cut some decals out. It’s amazing!
The typical version looks like this:

Not just on the license plate frame, but also on the spoiler. I’m a fan of ‘80s-tastic decals, but yeah you probably don’t need to tell people it’s a Porsche three times.

Exactly. My 944 said it three times.

I’d have gone with the decal, and taken off the license plate frame. an OE decal is factory-optional badging that has some design to it.
A license plate frame is a dealer-grade accessory. The spoiler molded lettering is not visible from further than arms reach, and signifies that the spoiler is OE, not an aftermarket part.

Yeah, in my mind, anything more than two of the same logo visible from t he same angle looks tacky. I don’t want to open a door and see the same logo on the door sill, the seats, the steering wheel, the gauges, the shifter, the floor mats, and the dash all simultaneously .
