NW Rally Association puts this on at Dirtfish as part of their annual “Rallycross Fest”. It costs a fraction of a day a Dirtfish, but you still get tons of wheel time and quite a bit of one on one instruction. Only caveats are that you need your own car, and the event sold out in 7 minutes.
It’s really nice to be able to practice these techniques over and over without risking a bad run at an actual event.
The surface at Dirtfish is very slippery and smooth compared to the extreme rockiness at the usual Rallycross location for this group, Spirit Peaks. It was nice to get in all that practice without worrying about planet-sized boulders wrecking your day.

nice - beautiful day to be braapping around Snoqualmie. (It would be kinda fun to drift that big Ascent around the course too..)

Is there any car that wouldn't be fun to Hoon around in the dirt? It's the great equalizer.

I so want to do the Subaru Winter Experience . It looks to be a great driving class, and it’s actually close enough to me that I wouldn’t have to drive halfway across the country in winter. The problem is that when I looked into it last winter it was somewhere north of $1000 plus lodging costs. Besides that, it was completely sold out by the time I looked.

I got the Subaru winter driving experience for free earlier this year:
...but yes, that looks like fun.
