Wouldn’t the NKVD be more of Stalin’s thing? The KGB wasn’t formed until after his death. People just don’t know their Soviet secret police chronologies anymore.

The most common, though probably incorrect, etymology for the word Bistro is that it comes from the Russian word  (quickly) during the time when Russian forces (part of the Sixth Coalition) occupied Paris following the Battle of Paris during the Napoleonic  W ars.
