I’ll be putting a full review together, but this is a 2019 Hyundai Veloster N with Performance Package. The Performance Package adds:
Limited-slip differential with electronic control
19" wheels with Pirelli summer tires
Electronically controlled exhaust
Larger brake rotors
Different engine tune - 275 HP vs 250
What do you want to know?

Can you take it to an autocross or is that against the terms and conditions of a review?

Not bad, though those giant rubberbanded wheels look likely to shatter the first time they hit a pothole. I think I’d have to downsize (assuming 18s or 17s fit over the embiggened rotors).
HFV has no HFV. But somehow has 2 motorcycles

That interior looks way better than the old one, does it feel better too?
One of the bigggest reason I lost interest in the old Veloster was the interior. I drove a 2015 Turbo Spec-R. Compared to the 2012 Beetle I wanted, and 2011 328i I ended up buying, that Veloster’s interior felt like garbage and looked it too.
The biggest question tho is. How’s the steering feel. Is to more like a BMW or a Toyota Camry?

I asked! There is a “trackcross” on Saturday at Summit Point, which is only an hour from home. Autocross format using a portion of a racetrack. Hyundai said no, for this time. Perhaps once I earn more of their trust with this and some other cars?

Can you take me for a ride in it? Haha. I kid. Mostly?
Also, that interior looks surprisingly good. Is it as high quality as it looks?

The biggest problem with any performance Hyundai car.
Does it rev hang between shifts. It’s annoying. And the one thing I hate about my Genesis Coupe.

It doesn’t seem to! I’ll keep an eye out for that behavior this weekend, though. Heading out to some back roads to get a better feel for the chassis dynamics. The car does have an auto-rev-match feature (which can be turned on/off with a steering wheel button, defaults to off, don’t worry) and that is very helpful if you want it. Pedals aren’t quiiiite right for easy heel-toe but you can do it.
