The C2 is still the shortest-lived generation of Corvette (1963-1967) , but the C7 was cut pretty short itself at only 6 model years (2014-2019).

That will make the C8 super-rare and sought-after circa 2060

Didn't Tadge say that we could expect C7 to be fairly short-lived?

Nah, still body-on-frame. It was much prettier than anything else out there but otherwise fairly conventional and not a huge change from the technology in the late C1. The changes to the suspension geo are the main show.

I think the C4 was the only Corvette to rival the C8 in scope and scale of the changes. Total transformation of the car and a massive break from what came before.
