It’s a glorious 81 degrees Freedom Units™ and I finished all the yardwork, about 12 total hours since Friday. No one can blame me for their prahpertee valyoos, nor do I give a damn. Is 4pm too early for this double IPA? If so, kiss my buns because it's already open.

I admittedly enjoy it. It's something I can do to make my house look nice and not spend a cent. Plus it has therapeutic properties that I require.

My MR2 survived autocross yesterday and I’ve taken it for a cruise today. Life doesn’t get much better than this.

Spent a week on-site for work in Kansas where it was 100 degrees, came home on Friday and immediately went to PA to spend a day in the 95+humid at the vintage grand prix. I got home today for basically the first time in over a week, caught up, and worked in the garage a bit (where it is also very hot). I’m ready for the humidity to stop.

It’s hot as can be (100+), i signed a partnership agreement today, im working on a broker agreement, and yeah....that’s it. Went on two days last week that resulted in utter  confusion

That’s a good way of looking at it, to be honest. I do need to spend some cents since the city won’t  pick up most of the landscaping debris that I need to be rid of, but I could at least condense it to one pile until I get a dumpster.

I wish the day was done. We visited my in-laws over the weekend, so I was given t he opportunity to make my way north with all of the South Texas traffic returning to Houston today. I was held up at the border checkpoint (which is 50+ miles north of the border) then was held up again by people playing bumper cars on the interstate. Now I get to spend the next four hours running the last two scenarios that I was supposed to complete on Friday and worked on yesterday which are due tomorrow morning.

I wish I were drinking a beer.

Spent too much time and money getting snacks, energy bars, and other road trip miscellany. Washed the V70, tried out some meguiars leather wipes, which were not amazing. Now all the rock chips and other paint damage is much more visible without the dirty hiding them. Now it’s time for laundry and making a list to make sure we have everything ready to go.

Then probably beer.

Last 2 weeks out in the field in NC with the Marines. Friday got caught up on y ard work, yesterday outside all day for a range activity, today outside al day at Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix.

I am ready to reverse hibernate by locking myself in a walk-i n freezer and not come out till winter.

I’m not really a dog person, I like one dog, my parents, and that’s about it. I have considered a cat, but I’m still not sure on that.

Went to Radwood in Tacoma on Saturday. Spent a few hours at the beach on Sunday morning covered in SPF4.

10/10, would enjoy these levels of R&R again.
