The amount of people that walked past it to the Plaid 911 (still mega cool), & the Lambo both beside the Alpina was sad. There was also an AC Schnitzer E38(LWB ) 7 Series, never got any shots of it. It was long, low, & made great V12 noises.

O ne of my neighbors has a Dinan one of those, and a 325 with roll bar spec’d out for track days. They sound really nice....

We started up a e46 325 without any form of exhaust on it, just the header. It sounded beastly....

I don’t blame some. Alpina has a very small foot print in North America, most have never heard of them.

Fuck BMW for not offering a 4-door M3, or better yet, a wagon

I hope the 911 guy has a matching flannel for full Canadian props

Probably did, but it was to hot for flannel. It was sitting around 90°F, that was before humidity. With humidity was around 100°F-105°F.

The fact that people aren’t looking at it means Alpina accomplished what they set out to do: build an understated but better BMW.

I mean most BMWs from the early/mid 2000's are understat ed, so it did not take lots to make it more understated.

I just mean compared to the M cars, but this is true
