This was posted before, but it is worth repeating.
A quiet, mild-mannered engineer where I work had been dreading the upcoming weekend for over a month. After weeks of begging and pleading, he promised to take his son to Monster Jam. This was not at all the way he wanted to spend his weekend.
On the Monday after Monster Jam, however, we couldn’t stop him from talking about it. Now, he and his son are planning trips to any monster truck event within reasonable distance.
