Marmalade is a 2005 Genuine Stella. I made a three hour trek to pick her up and darn I’m happy I did!

Kinja'd!!!

It’s in even better condition than described! Should be road ready with just a carb clean. :)

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

If you don’t know what this scooter is, it’s a Vespa built under license in India, then imported to the States and sold through Genuine Scooter Company. It has a 150cc two stroke engine mated to a full manual transmission! I’m already in love with this thing.

The previous owner is sad to see it go but she’s happy it’s going to someone just as excited about it as she was.

I am! I've wanted one ever since I discovered them through Decay. :) The DT175 is the sacrifice for it. lol

I've bought so many bikes I've learned how to load a trailer from it. xD

You will love those less when you snap a cable and have to calibrate the damn things at the side of the road.

I highly suggest you get a third hand tool to calibrate the shift cables if you don’t already have one, if you break a cable or they come out of whack, slipping, you will have to put in a new one/adjust them. It can be easy if nothing else moved or it can be a M assive Italian Pain In The Ass (M IPITA) on the side of the road. Carry extra cables and buy good ones! My first was a Vespa 90 in high school, and then 150s and a P200E, I even had a few Lambrettas. The Hawaiian police didn’t know what they were so I put a 50cc bicycle/moped reg on it and it worked for years.
