Makes sense. You need to have electronic brake actuation anyway for ABS and stability control, so why not delete the vacuum assist and use the same boost source for the human. At which point the assistance vs travel map can easily be adjusted on the fly.
Wha t’ll be real ly intere sting is if they’re also cha n ging brake balance between modes: I could see an argument for making it more rear-biased in sporty modes to make it feel more twitchy. Manufacturers already use brake vectoring to tweak handling in the background, and presumably adjust that between modes: why not bring it to the foregr ound?

Yeah. The Silverado debuted an E-boost system, so I imagine they’re using the same one here.
