Unless I have a press car that I need to drive for work, I’m driving this. It’s done 2,400 miles so far this summer. I’ve been getting 10 MPG in the city and 12 on the highway. I really do like driving it but I’m 100% over road tripping it. On the highway it’s just brutal, hot, and loud. It’s also brutal, hot, and loud in the city but more fun somehow.

Keep in mind, that’s 12 mpg with the tires spinning the whole time. So it’s actually much lower.

New plan keep the Corvette and still drive it a lot...but also buy that 2CV in a shed and fix it up. It will be un-brutal and even reach levels of cuteness , the top folds back so it will be cool, and it will be quiet because 602cc 2-cylinder and pea shooter exhaust!

Hubnut is road tripping his from Wales->Netherlands->Germany->France, etc. to Croatia as we speak (although his has a Burton upgrade kit with larger cylinder heads....a heady 652cc up from 602cc ! :P
