2017 Expedition, manufactured in June of 2016 and likely sold the same year , with 160k miles on the clock after 2-3 years

Probably closer to 65k a year. Figure if it sold halfway through 2016

I always hated the naming of the Expedition vs Excursion. An expedition is a larger trip than an excursion, but they named the giant SUV an Excursion.

Maybe they knew nobody could afford to fuel the bigger one and decided it would be better suited for short trips?

Eh, I average 50k/yr plus amongst our 3 vehicles, mostly just driving to/from work and running around on weekends , some road trips thrown in and I could see 65-70k/year being easily doable.

160k miles at the EPA highway of 21 mpg is 7,619 gallons of gas over 2-3 years. This person spent more on gas in 2-3 years than I have spent on anything car related over my entire life.

But “excursion” sounds closer to explosion, which is what I always assumed happened to the families of the people who bought them.
