I’m afraid I don’t see the appeal of going to so much trouble to waterproof something in a shower that tasteless, and not even having it at eye level so it can be seen while in the shower. Maybe that’s the point? Dash of color in the bathroom that’s “artsy” when viewing the bathroom as a whole, but not actually to look at, ever.

Or is it to be admired while one is on the shitter?

My trendy ass hotel in Singapore had this. I really liked the concept. What I didn’t like, was the floor of the giant glassed in bathroom was completely flat with only like a 2' wide piece of glass (~5 foot opening) trying to block shower water. I basically had to make a towel dam to keep from flooding the bathroom. It looked awesome, but was very impractical.

Yep, I actually do not like these designs because a little hidden “slit” on the ground can’t gobble water up nearly fast enough. And I’ve done many doors on ones where the drain is forward . Designers don’t seem to know much about the of viscosity of fast-flowing water.

The drain was ok, but water out of the rainshower plus auxiliary shower head would bounce off me and completely miss that little glass wall. It was frustrating haha
