Most of the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! wasn’t anything particularly notable to Jeep observers, but this long-form piece about Jamie Farr I felt was well worth sharing on its own.

Judging by the crowds at the Toledo Jeep Fest (both numbers and behavior), there is indeed a very real affection between the company and the town. The 2018 parade in particular was blazing hot, but people were still out in force.

This year I feel like I need to come up with something to hang on the side of my LJ in the parade to thank the city.

As a life long Toledo resident, you bet your ass Toledo loves the Jeep.  I would guess only the Mud Hens get more love than the iconic Jeep Wrangler/CJ. I’d  put the Toledo Walleye and Tony Pacos up there as well.

What no mention of Tony P ackos? It’s a must if you mention Toledo and MASH.

Great read, thanks for sharing. MASH is my all-time favorite TV show and I have fond memories of watching reruns on syndication with my Dad as a teenager.

As it turned out, your recommendation was helpful on multiple levels. Buried at the very bottom of this (quite long, maybe tedious) post is a note of appreciation.
