I’ve already seen an Enzo, several Huracans, Panamera’s, a MC12, classic 911's, 488's, 458's, and yeah....
oh and more fishing related decorations than ever before.

I recall going to california, orange county by the beach and expensive homes to be specific, and thinking that BMWs were basically hondas to these people. Most cars were a luxury brand, and BMWs seemed to just be the default. Turn 16 you get a bmw, start earning money you can hve a real car.

Welcome to Florida. Sadly I don’t think I’ll be anywhere near Miami soon so RIP potential oppomeet. However, you should visit Central Florida by me for the crackhead fights ambience and scenery.

There’s money “ pockets” everywhere. I went to public school in Pennsylvania. I had a little Mazda Protege5, it was really nice for a high school kid only a few years old...It was the second shittiest car in the parking lot. One of my pals had a 80's C amaro that was a real beater, we loved it though.
One girl got a brand new range rover (I wanna say that this was the P38 era 2002-2003 ) it was a really nice dark grey. She didn’t like it so they had a brand new car REPAINTED! Great choice though...Estoril Blue!

All “earned” on the up and up as well - there have never been any financial shenanigans in south Florida, and the highrises of Miami were financed through completely legit and transparent sources. No white powder .

Heck, it’ s like that in the suburban Seattle enclave where I live.
“Earning” can be funny when parents fund the free ride, arrange the job, fund the down payment, etc.

The year after I graduated High School I had heard there was a Sophomore
that was driving a Viper GTS! T
his was in Omaha, NE which has $$ but not southern California $$$$$.
Full of the sound of the Gran Fury, signifying nothing.

My sister and her family still live in SoCal. My nephew, who just turned 16, got a brand new X2 as his first car and wrecked it on the way home from the dealer. My sister and I grew up in an upscale neighborhood in Orange County, near the coast, but the thought of such expensive first cars was out of the question for us; I got mom’s hand-me-down VW Dasher wagon as my first car, and she got an old, 1st generation Accord hatch.

I recall a kid at my highschool had an Hummer, when they first became available to the public, BIIIG bucks. anyway, it got keyed a few times (because high schoolers suck) for taking up more than 1 space. So he gave it to his sister, and he acquired a Porsche.
total tool, he parked it on the football field all the time.
anyway. big money just replaced with big money.

Was just in Miami Beach, never saw so many Rolls in my life. Also Hurican, 488, 458, 720S. Nothing crazy like that though!

Miami car spotting is fun.
