I got tired of my Camaro being stuck in the garage so I decided to take it out for a little exercise before giving it the springs/ball joints treatment. For my kindness I was rewarded with coolant seeping up by an intake manifold bolt. This probably means a bad intake gasket so that’s on the to-do list. If this engine had any need for it I’d upgrade the intake itself while I was in there but that would just be lipstick on a pig. If you need me this weekend I’ll be in the garage swearing at the person who thought the distributor of a SBC should be in the back.

Absolutely. The engine did sit for a number of years before I put it in this car and was fine but I’m sure that was a contributing factor.
