Tomorrow, I head up to Yakima tomorrow to work with some dairy folks. It is a very interesting project involving some old friends and older enemies. Any tips on what to do or where to eat in Yakima?
My assistant is hoping this is the first step to a PNW office.

You should hit up Dr. Zoidberg since it's not far from the Seattle area.

I’ve got nothing useful to add, but I never pass up the opportunity to moo. So, moo!

I have ties to that area and visit now and then. It can be nearl y as hot as hell, but this summer has given us a cooler weather pattern, so it might not be bad. It’s a BIG difference from PNW west of the mountains.
We usually eat at Miner’s at least once for nostalgia if anything , but my tastes in food are simple and not always healthy.

Cayuse Pass is pretty cool if you end up with some time. Not a super challenging drive but very scenic.

Look out for meth heads, place is crawling with them. Visit minor’s east or major’s for good food. Go drive canyon road for a fun drive with nice scenery. If you have extra time, make sure to head east and take the hanford b reactor tour. Worth it.

Lol, not far... its about a 2.5 to 3 hour drive depending on your adherence to the speed limit.

I hear the milk has a bit extra kick up in that area.

Been through there once. The locals definitely seemed as if they’d been drinking radioactive milk for fifty years. Not sure if the meth helps.
