Been trying to turn it off, it’s something in my new computer?!?!

I usually repost later in the day because not many people are on at 5:30am, but the midday repost is something my computer takes the liberty of doing, not sure how that works?

Ya I usually post it in the morning, then do the afternoon/night repost. My computer handles the rest?

It’s weird, but I haven’t cared to have tech dig into it.

Lets all put on our long traveling cloaks and scarves and load up on jelly babies and jammy dodgers.

Stupid non-Whovian question: do you know anything about the rear spring mounts on fourth gen Mopar vans? We’ve got one in the family that will need the brackets and shackles replaced, but the chassis channel that the bracket mounts to on the frame is also in pretty bad shape.

The black part in this little side-on sketch, welded between the bumper box and the frame outrigger.

I know the 3rd/4th gen vans rotted like crazy!

Beyond that I will admit I don’t know much.

Looks like Dorman makes a replacement “hanger” though:

That’s for the rear, can’t seem to find the forward hanger though.

Yep, rear is where it’s bad... at least, I haven’t looked at the front yet. I saw a piece that might have been for that, but I think it’s only critically bad in the rear. W e’d already found that we could get the hanger (red in my pic), but i t’s what the hanger bolts to that is concerning, as I haven’t seen a repair piece for that. I suspect that it’d be possible to shore up in a variety of ways with material, but if there happened to be an available direct patch for that channel...

I doubt it, but like I say, 4th gens aren’t really my specialty.

I knew they weren’t, but figured if anyone on Oppo was likely to have heard something, it might be you. *cough*
