Seasoned pork roast. It was supposed to be cooked in a slow cooker, but there were instructions for prep in the oven so I did that since I didn’t want to wait 7 hours. I thought I washed off most of the seasoning so that I could add my own, but that didn’t go to plan and now it’s a bit too salty. In addition, I was supposed to cover it in foil, but I forgot that part and that’s why it looks like it does. It’s still tasty and relatively tender thankfully. I guess I’ll just have to pair it with a side dish that’s a little on the bland side otherwise I’m in for sodium overload...

It is still good. A little crunchy on top, but I like that. Top it off with a little HP sauce or Heinz 57, and it's just fine.

You’ve probably eaten it already, but use just a touch of honey or cinnamon and it’ll cancel out that salty flavor.

Just the way I would have cooked it, but worse.

Shred it and use it to top baked potatoes? Not that you want to wait for them to cook either.
I love salt though. Sounds fine to me.

I remembered that I had a fresh bottle of Stubb’s BBQ sauce, and that’s just what it needed. It was a Texas-seasoned roast, so why not add some sauce from Texas ?
I love that stuff. Between this and the Heinz pitmaster Hawaiian sauce I’m all set. I just wish the roast was a little larger...
