For a relatively new team, they’re punching way above their weight. Granted this track specifically being their home venue gives them a great advantage, and regardless we would have cheered on the home team regardless of the result. As evident by the sheer amount of plaid spotted trackside all weekend (guilty as charged), we hope the team can walk away from what nearly was at best a podium result at home with their heads high.
The #9 Porsche was challenging for the lead in the first stint but after the pit stop and on cold tires, went wide at Turn 5B resulting in a brief stop. Upon rejoining the track, he struck the #14 Lexus which retired to the garage shortly after. Pfaff Motorsports would go on to finish the race P5 after starting P5.
