That looks like it. Unfortunately, it seems to look awful from this picture. If the actual car is as busy and random as that rear end, GM needs to fire some of the design staff. After the Camaro debacle, this isn’t helping.

The spoiler definitely looks like what’s been seen on the C8 prototypes.

Regardless of what vehicle this is, that rear end is a trainwreck.

the rear deck height is almost as high as the roof, anyway.

I guess I don’t know why all the hate?  It has clearly functional vents.  The exhausts are fine.  I think it looks pretty clean, overall.  It’s not busy to me, like, say a Type-R.  What’s the problem here?  It looks fine.

I mean, I see the family resemblance, but it’s clearly not looking like a Camaro to me. The top curves opposite, the plate insert is a different shape, and higher, etc. I feel like if you didn’t know it was a Chevy, You wouldn’t make the comparison.

It’s no more busy than almost anything else, I think.

Seems like, in truth, the tail lights are the real point of contention. That’s the only part that reminds me of the Camaro, but they look way more C7 to me.
