I like.  The amazing think about those is, if you look in the back, it’s not that roomy in the back seat despite the size of the car.

The badunkadunk is all for the trunk. As a rule, ri ch folks’ cars seem to  need to be able to easily accommodate a body or two in the trunk.

That flushing noise you hear is the depreciation.

Much better than their models where the interior set of headlights — relative to the grille — are larger than the exterior ones.

How rich can they be if its the V8

I bet their assistant can’t even afford their own assistant

Explains why they felt the need to move to Portland, where they are much richer ( relatively) .

I am convinced that in order to rock a bentley you need to have a W12 and be as extravagant as Edy Smol.

I’d like to switch off the traction control and see if this car would spin its rear wheels.

Oregon. No taxes and, therefor, no government services. But they pay their teachers a handsome pension -- 100% of their highest salary year -- if I’m not mistaken. I’d rather move to Arizona or New Mexico if I wanted to flee California.

I don’t worry about depreciation of cars I’ll never buy.

I will probably never own a new car.

It’s nice to have the warranty and all, but not necessary. Either way, if you keep your cars until they aren’t worth keeping anymore, depreciation doesn’t factor in. It’s very liberating.

I’m not sure what “not worth keeping” connotes, but have you seen my fleet? They were not worth keeping by the people I bought them from. I never buy a car with resale in mind, which might be included in what you said above.

I mean until they don’t run anymore without repairs that are not economically feasible.

I hope I didn’t come across snarky. I do TONS of work to my van, but almost invariably as preventative maintenance. The newest car I ever purchased was two or three years old. Just don’t have the dough.

That’s a good thing.  OUr family has a history of fixing our cars until it’s just too expensive to make them operational and safe to drive.
