It’s vacation season! Anybody got any big plans?
We just got back from two weeks in CA. We flew to the Oakland area and rented a car, then headed south along the PCH with stops in Monterey, San Simeon, Santa Barbara, and ended up in LA for a visit to Disneyland. Had a great time. Now we’re just passing the time till school starts back.

I believe this is a just-prewar Humber Super Snipe. The little Austin A40 pickup in the background is neat.
No big holiday plans for me, a couple roadtrips within a couple surrounding states, maybe something overseas next year, I am thinking of being out of the country or maybe off-continent for election day.

Good, you will avoid the riots.

Sounds like a great trip!
We took a 4-day trip up to Door County, WI in early June. Hopefully we can do a bigger trip next year.

We have a history of taking two-week trips, but we usually drive on the order of 3,0 00 miles round trip. We came to the realization this year that 12 days is probably better than 14 days. We finished Disney with two days still to go and we were ready to go home.
