Motobecane 50V for $50 with title. A bit of a drive to get it. I’m still trying to get in touch with the owner and make sure it actually runs, but even if it doesn’t I should be able to repair/replace the engine as needed. Would be a nice, affordable  way to commute to work.

That seems like a hell of a deal. Good luck.

Just heard back from the owner and he says someone's coming to look at it tomorrow, but I'm next in line of he flakes (and this is CL, so what are the odds...) Thankfully I don't have to be at work until 6pm on Saturday, so I should be able to grab it at any time.

I love that sound!

This thing reminds me of the Motobecane bicycle my mom had back in the ‘70s. It was almost the same color as well. I borrowed that bike all the time as a kid and thought that ten whole speeds was just the greatest thing ever; I think my current bike has 27...

For $50 with a title, you really can't go wrong.

That’s exactly what I figured. I think I spent that much on a decent dinner out the last time I went to a local steakhouse.  I just hope I can fit it in the back of my mini-minivan...

At this price I WILL find a way, even if it means duct taping it to the roof!

That’s a steal of a deal! I’ve been wanted another moped lately. I’m thinking about going bigger tho and getting a Honda  Helix or something that size. Then my kid can ride on the back!

I love the Helix models and wouldn’t mind getting one, especially a 250, but those are a little more than $50.

A friend has a CH80 Elite, and it’s quite a nice little ride, but those things aren’t cheap. Hell, anything with a Honda badge seems to hold its value a little too well, be it a s cooter, lawnmower, generator, etc.

Yeah the cheapest cn250 I could find was 700 and has been sitting for a few years.

A good running one will go for 12–1700
