One person had a very close call yesterday and unfortunately another person is no longer with us.
Yesterday a flight originating in Kenya was coming into land at London, Heathrow Airport.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
At 15:40BST Sunday evening a stowaway fell from the undercarriage of a Kenya Airways flight and landed about one metre from a resident who had been sunbathing in their garden.

This is actually a fairly routine occurrence. Most of the time, they die in the wheel well due to the lack of air and the extreme cold at the cruising altitudes. It’s why they fall out.

Talk about a rude awakening. I imagine that would be fairly traumatic.

Apparently the person was, ‘frozen solid which held the body together on impact’.
So ye', that sunbathing person would of certainly died from it.

Ye’, the stowaway was characterised by a witness as ‘frozen solid, but granted he would of just been very cold. Which held the body together but caused blood to be expelled everywhere.
That sunbather isn't going back into their garden again very soon.

According to the article, Heathrow says it happens once in five years. But although the article mentions four other people in three other incidences, I'd imagine it happens more. Certainly much more around the world.

Imagine that plane spotter person in the park t hat was taking an interest on Flightradar and looked up and saw the people falling from the sky. I'd imagine that would stick in my head for a while.
