Trust me IDK either, but at least it looks well done, although a Pontiac Judge replica made out of a Sunfire wouldn’t be my first choice, or my second....or third.

Looks like a well-done photoshop job.
Full of the sound of the Gran Fury, signifying nothing.

That’s, um, interesting. And fairly well done from what I can see. But the word ‘why? ’ keeps popping into my head...

Sadly it appears to be real https://www.hotrod.com/articles/hppp-1303-1995-pontiac-sunfire/
Unless hotrod.com is playing an elaborate prank on me

Real enough for hotrod.com to see it in person I guess, but what really is real?
Is anything truly real?

That’s... uhh... something. At least it looks well made. Honestly the thing I dislike most about this is the rear window GTO text .
Here’s article for the curious.

Well, I remember that early Ford Foci could be fairly easily modified to be RWD with a 302 under the hood, but I never heard of something like that for an equivalent G M product.
I wanted to do the 302/RWD conversion, not on a 3-door hatch like most, but on a wagon. I don't know if it would have been easy, but it would be a hell of a sleeper.

I think he’s lying. Look at the Sunfire’s quarter window:
Notice how short/stubby/squared it is?
This car looks more like they took a modern GTO and grafted the old GTO body onto it. The new GTO has the same window design, but the window is larger/less squared.:

The only answer I can come up with is that I'm not the only one who opines for so.e of the auto styling of the 1970s. I agree that this doesn't feel like the right way to get there.

The interior door panel looks to be that of a Sunfire though,
Same with the dash, that would be a lot of work retrofitting a 95 Sunfire interior in a 05-07 GTO but I can’t prove either since this car is “now” ls powered and would make more sense beginning as an ls car, no engine or interior shots appear to be available
Not to mention the door mirrors are exact matches to a Sunfire not a GTO, but again, could be a very elaborate ruse
The biggest thing against your claim thought is that the C pillar on this car matches a Sunfire exactly, a GTO doesn’t match that C pillar, it’s much wider.

I really don’t understand this, there’s obviously a lot of skill involved in creating it, not to mention time and money, but they did all that on a base car that was worthless and undesirable before the factory warranty expired. This is the road- going equivalent of building a $5 million mansion in the middle of Centralia.

The door open line on the GTO ends at the window trim, one the Sunfire it extends into the roof.
This car is in fact a Sunfire.

Was this before the GTO was sold? Maybe it was the pony 2 door Pontiac available at the time?
....except the Firebird...
Nope this makes no sense. It’s clearly just a “look at this thing I’ve done that no one else has.”

I just don’t understand why you would use a Sunfire, then convert it to rwd, then make a GTO remake when you could have just used any of the RWD GM platforms of the time!?!?!
