What is that? I have seen a lot of concept cars, but cannot recognize that one. The design would definitely hold up today.
By the way, I also want the “ vision of the future” that was promised in the 1950s and 1960s.

I, for one, am glad that the average driver does not have access to their own personal manned bombs.

Tomorrow! Today!

I love the old version of the future, which sort of made sense when there were 3-4 billion people on earth, Al Gore was still too young to invent climate change, and the overall mantra was “taking up space and covering large distances”
It’s just interesting. Only the sci-fi writers really saw much downside. Today’s futurism is a lot more boring, but a lot more practical.

that steering wheel looks like it would staple you to the seat if you rear ended someone hard enough

Today’s “futurism” too often has the stink of ‘20s social angst futurism about it, and as such may not be really deserving of the word.

Speakeasy
Craft Brewpub keeps the booze flowing, there is no end in sight for my optimism

healing tonic
LaCroix and relax

I’m OK with not getting the future I was promised as a kid in
the ‘50s. I could put it
off forever, really.
