I was expecting that gif to have an unhappy ending.

I just read the last one (I’ll leave the rest for later). Not a bad feature, although I found two bits I am not terribly convinced about.
First of all, I doubt very much the Allies would leave “embedded in a damp forest” a “jeep with a blown engine”. If I remember correctly unusable jeeps were supposed to be destroyed to prevent them being c a p t u r e d a n d u s e d by the Axis. Obviously i n b a t t l e it was not always possible or practical to do so, but still.
Second,
[ . . . ] before the 1948 Marshall Plan was approved to financially prop up European economies and prevent heads of states from defecting behind the Iron Curtain [ . . . ]
What?
For starters, the writer has obviously no idea about what a “head of state” is (which is usually different from a a

or a prime minister). In any case, can you imagine the royals of Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway and Greece, and the presidents of France, Italy and Austria scrambling postwar to get to Moscow asap? No, me neither.

On the heads of state thing there was a legitimate power vaacuum and they
didn’t want Stalin sympathizers to fill that vacuum. Look at the history of Communist Party activities in Italy in the 50s, 60s and 70s, that will tell you how close a lot countries came to being Stalin Puppet states.
